My Sunday Best, Volume 12: Pants-free, Week 3

Sunday, July 17, 2016

Happy Sunday! My sister's in town and we were all up late last night, so she stayed home with the boys while my mom and Andrew and I took the girls to Mass. You'd think that with 3 adults and 3 kids it would be no problem, right? But ah, the twins still have issues sitting near each other. So... Still not quite there. It *was* nice actually getting to be in the pew with Andrew the whole time, though!

Here's what I wore this week:

Monday: A maxi dress I've owned for ages (since I was pregnant with Cecilia), super-forgiving and stretchy and basically feels like I'm wearing pajamas. Hence the incredibly flattering pose!

Tuesday: My favorite Stitch Fix skirt, a nice stretchy non-maternity t-shirt, and a maternity tank for layering. This is the point in pregnancies (21 weeks here) where my belly is just plain cute without getting in the way too much - it's only getting bigger from here ;)

Wednesday: After my last Stitch Fix didn't net an entirely new wardrobe, I went online to order some things from Old Navy to try to fill things out (and now I feel like all I need are a few basic tops and I'll be good to go). This midi skirt was on sale and you know it's tooootally my style, so I snapped it up along with a few other things.

Thursday: I love this new top! It's maternity but would totally work even when not pregnant. They've got it in plus-size, too (not exactly the same, but almost).

Friday: I put this black dress on and then decided I looked too fancy for a day sitting around at home, so I tied a plaid shirt over it to dress it down a little. The dress worked great as a cover-up when we went to the pool later!

Saturday: We had a birthday party for John Paul, and this was during cleanup because the light was going and I realized I still hadn't taken a picture. Which is why after a Costco trip, thunderstorms, lots of cooking, and a birthday party, I look like this! That's baked beans on my belly. Just keeping it real.

(I got that skirt during the Amazon Prime Day sale and I think it's gonna be one of my favorite maternity finds this pregnancy! Soooo comfy.)

And today!
Dress: Three Seasons Maternity, purchased for 30% off on Amazon Prime Day
Belt: Old Navy (also on sale!)

Your turn!

Post your outfit details & links or not, regale us all with your children's antics, reflect deeply on the readings, or just do a straight picture post - anything goes as long as you actually wore your outfit to church. The link-up is open until Friday, so you've got plenty of time to add your post!

Just a few ground rules before you link up:

1. Please include a photo of what you wore to church this week.

2. Please link back to this post in the body of your post, so your readers know where to find other posts (posts not mentioning "My Sunday Best" or not linking back to this post will be subject to removal).

3. Please visit some other posts in the link-up & leave a nice comment - this is all about affirming each other and building community, not just link dropping :)

4. Make sure the link you add is a link to your specific post or instagram picture, not just your blog address.

5. Enjoy, and thanks for linking up!
